1. Purpose of Personal Information Processing

IBON Plastic Surgery (아이본성형외과의원, hereinafter referred to as the "Clinic") collects and processes personal information strictly in compliance with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and the Medical Service Act. All collected data is used solely for medical consultation, surgical scheduling, patient identity verification, and post-operative follow-up care.

2. Categories of Personal Information Collected

• Online Consultation & Appointment Booking: Full name, email address, phone number, messenger ID (WhatsApp, LINE, WeChat), preferred consultation date, and inquiry details.
• In-Clinic Medical Records (Mandatory under the Korean Medical Service Act): Full legal name, passport/alien registration number or date of birth, contact information, medical history, current medications, surgical consent records, and clinical before/after photographs.

3. Retention and Destruction Period

• Online Consultation Records: Retained for up to 3 years after inquiry completion and destroyed immediately upon a patient's written deletion request.
• Statutory Medical Records: Preserved in encrypted medical record systems in accordance with Article 22 of the Korean Medical Service Act (Patient Roster: 5 years; Medical Charts & Surgical Records: 10 years).

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Clinic never sells, leases, or discloses patient personal or medical data to external third parties without explicit prior consent, except where mandated by Korean law.
